Kids Day / Daycare Day 2012
Kids/Daycare Day is a great tradition of the Brown County Free Fair. We've planned many events and activities that will make the day special for families, daycare providers and children.
We're ready for more fun, laughs and excitement at Kids Day 2012. Back, by popular demand, will be The Amazing Hoopsters. They're a family that performs incredible hula hoop tricks in an upbeat, fun and energetic show. They'll be on the Main Stage in the Civic Center at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Audience participation is encouraged, so practice your hula hoop skills this summer! (If you're at the Fair on Thursday, the Hoopsters will also be performing at 11, 1 and 3.)
Also in the Civic Center will be Tricia and the Toonies. Tricia and her sidekicks (a troupe of puppets) put on a great musical and interactive show for all ages. The Toonies will be performing their Enviro-Show at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Kids will love the music, puppets and audience participation, all while learning how they can make a difference in our world!
As always, the county FFA chapters will provide educational opportunities in their building and showcase the Children's Barnyard. 4H Ambassadors will be playing games with children. The livestock barns are always open. And, the carnival will offer wristband specials for the rides on Friday afternoon. The Kids Pedal Pull will be held in the afternoon.
Information packets and registration materials are mailed to all licensed Brown County Daycare Providers in July. Anyone, however, can register their children/grandchildren for the day's events. Pre-registration is encouraged -- we will have a packet of goodies ready for your group and you can quickly be on your way to enjoy the Fair!
Registration starts at 10:45am in the Entertainment Hall.
